i was watching vids and news about the sichuan earthquake.

very very thankful s’pore’s not like that, and its really extremely heart rendering when you see the videos.
like i mean, imagine walking to JP and finding an arm on the sidewalk, and then realising its your neighbour’s.
oh, ex neighbour’s.
that’s kinda like the blood and gore they go through everyday.

they sleep in darkness, though the smell of death and rotting bodies.
i also read this article where this mom was found in this kneeling, praying posture.
she was protecting her baby, who survived.
on the baby, the paramedics found this msg saying ‘dear baby, if u manage to get out alive and is well, please always remember that i love you.’
something like that.

oh and like for racists like xeun, its times like these that you’ll feel for the people in china, and actually feel like a part of them, a chinese.
