i’ve always been a person who’s interested in things for a short while.

thought it would be the same for frisbee.
well i joined cos of my ogl friends.
the hype, the interest and all that kept me going, knowing a few people here and there.
wore off after a while and i felt like quitting.
all my friends thought i would quit
so did i.

until i went out more often with the frisbee people and i grew to like the sport.
i played my heart out and tried not to miss trainings.
i love the people, the cheering of each other etc.
i really like it.

at the start, i like the feeling of scoring, and it was sorta like a ’show off’ satisfaction ego thing.

but frisbee is a rather interesting and unique sport.
now i learn, it is more important to play as a team, to sacrifice yourself to save others’ asses.
i’ve also learnt mentality and morale and the impact it makes.
i learn and discover new things every training, and each one is as intriguing as the last.
strategy and playing smart’s impt too.
i find it interesting too, the learning curve and ‘wall’ everyone will meet.

this is the point where EVERYTHING comes into play.
all that i have learnt- physically, skills, mentally etc comes under the radar and is put to the test now.
well, this is it, isnt it.

the date’s drawing near, the intensity and the need to prove yourself gets higher.
the pressure’s getting to me..and it sucks.
why now.
i think if faced with something like this, i would have quit, with my horrible mentality in the past.
but now, i dont care, i want a breakthrough and i’ll push on!

so,
lets take out all we have, cheer each other on like we always have and let’s go NYP!
