NYP, IVP champions 2009!

that sounds damn awesome haha
our efforts, blood and sweat really paid off.
we came a long way, we did.
from not knowing how to throw a forehand..
i remembered my first time at the tennis court with bevan and keeks teaching me and the ogls playing a match against nyp seniors.
we really went through a lot together-under 21, sim invitationals, night outs at ben’s, xmas party, buffets, disc throwing at the grass patch outside macs, league, s-11, frisbee camp to trainings etc etc.

i was so damn nervous at the start and being first line against SMU did not help at all!
couldnt focus and all!
got better, thankfully!
damn cool cos daryl skied bernard.
you know i thought he wasnt gonna get it? hee

NTU scored the first two points.
but we fought back (:
this guy spiked the disc and i think NYP got quite upset cos it was like major disrespect hmmm
im quite thankful haha cos he forced the layout (sorta!) out of me.
you know, i didnt know how it happened haha waaaay too fast.
edwin is an awesome rabbit.

NUS was nerve wrecking!
but i think xl’s, doug’s and dor’s swinging helped so much!
and daryl’s d-s and cs’ handblock.
15-10 to nyp! (:
it wasnt an easy game, seriously.
but i enjoyed it, really did.
ont of the best games ever! (:
and precisely why i think there was so much satisfaction!

my first ivp.
im so proud and glad to be in the same team and family as you guys.
all of you make ulty so much more enjoyable and we always stand by each other like how daryl got so pissed when he saw this guy foul me and he wanted to play the next point to sky him even when he was injured.
i wont forget the times we had, this experience and these memories will be here to stay a majorly long time.
the videos and stuff ben showed us and said before the match spurred me up.
i think i wouldnt have been able to continue with this sport if not for ben.
like his teachings, (scoldings!), setplays and coaching.
and the faith and chances he has given.

ivp day one

first day of ivp’s over!
my first big match!
well, wasnt what  we really expected, losing by universal point to sim hmmm
i’ve never taken defeats/loss easily ):
you know, i dropped this bloody disc that was straight to my chest in the end zone which cost a turnover in which sim scored which brought us to universal )):
we’re coming back stronger, sim, you watch us! haha
ohwells, at least i played better yesterday haha
what i thought anyway!
its been so long! at least there’s a slight breakthrough
lets hope this persists!!
but right now, my body’s just aching.
bahh.

nyp, we’re stronger than that!

LEAGUE IS FINALLY OVER!
well, my sundays are finally free hooray (:
but i think i’ll miss league, the sun, rain, MUD and team elmo.
i’ve learnt so much, so many so many ups and downs for me etc.
i cant believe its over, still haha
at least we won our last game! haha

i missed the finals!
smurfettes vs flickstones!
i heard from xeun and xy that it was a really really fun match.
xeun skied xy, sorta haha and xy layout d-ed xeun
damn cool
and they were like laughing and playing on the horribly wet field with no pressure.
even when its the finals haha
ohwells, i was helping at the chalet and i think i got like over 10mosquito bites cos i was damn smelly.
haha

we-cs, hussain, jon, xeun, xy and i stayed till like 6pm the next day just chilling and stoning-for me anyway the whole day.
too damn tired! hha

I feel really burned out. I think im pressuring myself to play well too much and I think too much! So like your confidence dips, then you pressure yourself and you don’t play well, it dips even lower. Ohwells.

 

Im going out a lot with the nyouth people and I like it (:
doug and xl are absolutely crazy haha they’re quite different from what they are in nyp, especially doug!
a lot of scandals and gossip and fun time together.
im glad we’re bonding (:
but sometimes im just afraid I’ll drift away from the peeps in NYP cos we used to be how tight!

But still I think I really enjoy the time with nyouths.
