NYP, IVP champions 2009!
that sounds damn awesome haha
our efforts, blood and sweat really paid off.
we came a long way, we did.
from not knowing how to throw a forehand..
i remembered my first time at the tennis court with bevan and keeks teaching me and the ogls playing a match against nyp seniors.
we really went through a lot together-under 21, sim invitationals, night outs at ben’s, xmas party, buffets, disc throwing at the grass patch outside macs, league, s-11, frisbee camp to trainings etc etc.
i was so damn nervous at the start and being first line against SMU did not help at all!
couldnt focus and all!
got better, thankfully!

NTU scored the first two points.
but we fought back (:
this guy spiked the disc and i think NYP got quite upset cos it was like major disrespect hmmm
im quite thankful haha cos he forced the layout (sorta!) out of me.
you know, i didnt know how it happened haha waaaay too fast.
edwin is an awesome rabbit.
NUS was nerve wrecking!
but i think xl’s, doug’s and dor’s swinging helped so much!
and daryl’s d-s and cs’ handblock.

it wasnt an easy game, seriously.
but i enjoyed it, really did.

and precisely why i think there was so much satisfaction!
my first ivp.
im so proud and glad to be in the same team and family as you guys.
all of you make ulty so much more enjoyable and we always stand by each other like how daryl got so pissed when he saw this guy foul me and he wanted to play the next point to sky him even when he was injured.
i wont forget the times we had, this experience and these memories will be here to stay a majorly long time.
the videos and stuff ben showed us and said before the match spurred me up.
i think i wouldnt have been able to continue with this sport if not for ben.
like his teachings, (scoldings!), setplays and coaching.
and the faith and chances he has given.
